Our company is found amongst verdant pastures, conveniently located close to the centre of England just off the motorway network. SEL is a company with over 35 years of history and evolution. Initially starting out as precision engineers and fabricators Sapcote Engineering was typical of the many small engineering companies of the time.
As the years have passed, the world of engineering has changed considerably and our company has evolved to meet these changes. Following success after success, being continually innovative and consistantly meeting our customers requirements have allowed us to grow. We have developed our capability to provide a Systems Integrator approach and offer turnkey solutions. SEL is accredited to BS EN ISO 9001 2000 (Q06224) and is "safe contractor" approved.
We specialise in cost effective bespoke solutions providing our customers with quality precision engineering and fabrication work. To provide this service we have invested in our design capability with a fully 3-D Design office setup. The addition of sheet metal laser cutting capability has added to our arsenal of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical/electronic manufacture and assembly capabilities all under one roof.
For new projects our services would typically include site visits to determine customers requirements. Following this, a proposal would be drafted including concept drawings, a comprehensive scope of supply, quotation and time scales. Once an order is placed we will organise, manufacture, procure and assemble and check as required. Sunject to scale, our assembly facility can be used to pre-assemble and test run complete systems prior to customer sign-off and shipping, thus ensuring minimum duration for final commissioning and acceptance.
We are conversant with CE marking requirements and provide risk assessments, calibration and material test certificates. Our systems are provided with full documentation, detailing operating procedures, maintenance and spares.
We have built-up an enviable list of regular European customers including such household names as: Walkers Crisps, Frit-O-Lay, Jacobs Bakery, GE Lighting, Hozelock, Unipart, The Boots Company, Cadbury’s Trebor, Ishida and many more.
